Plum Park Press
Joseph Pennell was a prolific American artist known particularly for his interest in landmarks and landscapes. He traveled widely, and lived in Europe for many years. In 1912 he spent several months in Panama making a series of drawings of the canal then under construction. These he subsequently turned into lithographs, which were published along with his notes on he subject as a book Joseph Pennell's Pictures of the Panama Canal. This Plum Park Press book is a complete miniature version of the original book. It includes all 28 lithographs from the original book, and all of the original text.
Pictures of the Panama Canal consists of 140 pages, and has overall dimensions of 76 x 59 mm (2-15/16 x 2-3/8 inches). The edition is limited to 20 copies, priced at $45 plus $7 for postage and handling.
