OXFORD Described by F. D. How, and Painted by E. W. Haslehurst is another in the PPP series of "painted places", in a uniform format with Constantinople Painted by Warwick Goble and California Painted by Sutton Palmer.  Oxford was published in 1866, and was built around 11 watercolor paintings, all reproduced in this miniature edition, using 2-page spreads in many cases. One of the paintings also appears on the dustjacket, and another on the endpapers.
Oxford consists of 160 pages, with overall dimensions of 75 x 53 mm (3 x 2-1/8 inches). The price is $45 each, plus $7 for shipping and handling.
