Plum Park Press
When the New York subway was opened in 1904, the IRT (Interborough Rapid Transit Co.) published a book describing how they built it. Plum Park Press is pleased to announce a miniature edition of the first half of this great work, The Construction of the New York Subway. The is full of fascinating detail, and is copiously illustrated with diagrams, photographs, and maps.
The book is in "large" miniature format: 76 x 76 mm (3 x 3 inches), so the illustrations can be presented with all the details readable. Glossy endpapers show color photographs of rolling stock and the City Hall Station, and the book boards are covered with glossy which paper carrying the IRT emblem.
The book consists of 240 pages, and the edition will be limited to 20 copies, priced at $50 each plus $5 for shipping and handling.
