Plum Park Press
Some English Gardens was written by Gertrude Jekyll, and illustrated with paintings by George S. Elgood. The book was originally published in 1904, by which time the author was a well known authority on gardening, partly as a result of a book she wrote five years earlier called Wood and Garden. That book is available as a 2-volume miniature set from PPP's sister imprint, The Wild Onion Press.
The three volumes share the same format and design.
Some English Gardens describes sixteen great English gardens, each illustrated by a picture. The book consists of 220 pages, and has overall dimensions of 76 x 76 mm (3 x 3 inches). It is bound in printed cloth, with one of the paintings from the book on the cover. Two additional paintings are enlarged on the end-papers.

The edition is limited to 20 copies, priced at $50 each, plus $7 for shipping and handling. To order this book, contact me.
