Albert Einstein wrote Relativity: The Special Theory and the General Theory in 1925. It was written for a general audience, and is less intimidating than it sounds. It is actually a fairly small work, so it makes a fine miniature without any abridgement. Relativity fits in with other scientific books published by Plum Park Press; the photograph below shows tis book (bound in dark green faux leather) along with Priestley's Experiments and Observations of Various Kinds of Air (in black) and Huygens' Treatise on Light (in brown).
The miniature edition is set in 7-point Cheltenham, a very readable type. The illustrations are all newly drawn, and the occasional equations are all newly typeset.
The book consists of 280 pages, with overall dimensions of 73 x 61 mm (2-7/8 x 2-7/16 inches). It is bound in dark green faux leather, and the endpapers carry a photograph of two pages from the author's manuscript. The book is priced at $45 a copy, plus $7 for packing and shipping.
