TRAVELS INTO SEVERAL REMOTE NATIONS OF THE WORLD was allegedly written by one Lemuel Gulliver, but today we know that it was written by Jonathan Swift in 1726, and it remains popular to this day as Gulliver's Travels. The original book was published in four volumes, and Plum Park Press is doing the same. This is Volume I, "A Voyage to Lilliput".
The book consists of 160 pages, and has overall dimensions of 75 x 57 x 14 mm (2-15/16 x 2-1/4 x 9/16 inches). It is bound in an ancient map of the world, protected by a clear dustjacket carrying the title.
The Plum Park Press miniature edition of GULLIVER'S TRAVELS, Vol. I, "A Voyage to Lilliput", consists of 12 copies. The price is $40, plus $5 for shipping and handling.
The title spread (above) replicates that of the original publication, complete with a portrait of "Lemuel Gulliver". The book is bound in a reproduction of an antique map of the world, which also appears on the endpapers; a transparent dust jacket carries the book title (below).
The Plum Park Press miniature edition of GULLIVER'S TRAVELS, Vol. II, "A Voyage to Brobdingnag", consists of 12 copies. The price is $40, plus $5 for shipping and handling.
