Edward Lear was one of the more popular writers of fiction and poetry in Victorian Britain, and much of his work was for younger readers. A classic work of juvenile poetry is THE JUMBLIES, published in 1900 (after the author's death) with illustrations by L. Lesley Brooke.
This TFBB miniature book contains all the original poems, including The Jumblies, The Owl and the Pussycat, and The Dong with the Luminous Nose. The original illustrations are all included also.
The book consists of 108 pages, printed on heavy cream paper. The cover is bound in printed bright yellow cloth, and the original endpapers are reproduced. The overall dimensions are 75 x 75 x 15 mm (3 x 3 x 5/8 inches). This is an open edition priced at $20 plus $5 for shipping and handling.
